Did you just pull a dyno run? It's nice and cold today, don't you normally wait until summer and its 95 in the shade?

I always try to do it when it's cooler, I just get unlucky sometimes. Today was decent, and I had the opportunity, so I can't complain.

Nice! I was looking for a stock car with PE dyno since last week.

Can anyone translate these numbers to xDrive?

Had it on my 328. Bmw claimed that it gives 6hp/6 torque.

No idea, but my previous 328 was a little less, like 212/189wtq.

I'll overlay them later.

Weather conditions can also affect the numbers.

Edit: Oh and closer to sea level the better an engine performs.

Now all you need is my help with a small shot of Nitrous....

EDIT: Why does this motor run so lean (~15:1 AFR) at WOT ?

Not if you are using SAE correction.

Wait so why do people always talk about weather conditions when they dyno if it can be corrected? Or is the correction unrealistic in the real world?

because there's always an excuse for bad dyno numbers.. although, I could see on a very hot day, the timing could be being retarded due to higher IATs, and other factors that the dyno can't correct for - but if it's a nice cold day and it's making your HP #s higher, the correction is going to account for that. Generally comparing dynojet to dynojet is pretty close if they are using the same correction factor.

Anyway, all of this misses the point of TheAxiom's post entirely - he wanted a baseline, so when he does do any mods he'll have something he can directly compare his changes to. Comparing it to a random mustang dyno run and complaining that all dynojet pulls are inflated (which is nonsense anyway) is completely besides the point.
