I haven't really thought about going to ATL.. but it might actually be pretty fun. We could all drive down together. Definitely something to think about!

911, I'm almost positive the GM is fully enclosed. I was actually under the impression that the AFE was open. All the pictures I've seen of it have been open. Not sure how that would affect the performance... If I were you, I'd get the GM rep. Seems to have the best reviews on the board.

I am down with the drive to ATL.
The last trip to CHATT. we went from the Boro to Chat in 45 min.

yea maybe i mixed the intakes up haha i just remember seeing one of the popular ones that were open...which has its ups and downs...personally i could probably make you just as much HP by modifying your stock intake...but thats up to you

well in the VW world...weve taken the stock intakes and ground down all the flaps inside and put some holes on the bottom of it thus making it more freeflowing...in all honestly doing that will give you VERY similar results with ZERO dollars spent...hell you can even run a "ram air" scoop to it from your lower bumper hole like say the dinan intake does with just some tubing...
