Exclamation HELP!! How to Fix Broken Tab under my AHL headlight??

Hi Members,

I recently found out that one of the tab under my e90 pre-lci adaptive headlight is broken. Its broken right under the Angel Eyes (Drivers Side). The hole from broken tab is big enough that I can even touch the angel (picture 2) rings but thank god they are not broken and are working fine. I have heard about repair kits but after searching I found out that they can only fix the top 2 tabs. Can any body guide me how to repair the bottom tab?

This tab is used to screw the light to the plastic arm/bracket ( part # 14 in the picture)

The first 2 pictures are of the broken tab. This tab is used to screw the bottom of the headlight to the plastic arm ( part # 14 in the picture and the broken tab screws the light right where the arrow for number 14 is pointing) and the arm is screwed to the body frame.

The second 2 pictures are of the others side headlight showing what tab I am talking about.

Questions:
1: Since this in under the light and there is one more screw tab (on the side of the headlight) which kind of holds the arm in position, should i just seal the hole with plastic weld and be tension free or should I be worried about the about the tab and look for one????

Can anybody spare me this tab if someone has a broken headlight laying around???

Is there any place where I can take it for repair in Bay Area??
Please Advice !!

If you were from around here ... I would weld it for you ...

You can try doing itself ... I think HF sells plastic welders ... it should last for one time use.

I can weld the open hole but the my concern is will that broken tab effect the performance of headlight (alignment/position) if the tab is not screwed to the bracket???

I don't really think it's an issue. Just seal it and install the housing on the bracket, then to the car. The bracket should hold it in place just fine.

Do you think so.. Because the other tab which holds the housing to the bracket is on the side
