2.5 Ton - Super Low Profile Jack 2-3/4" - $74.99
If any of you will be heading to the states anytime soon, here's a pretty good pickup.
http://www.harborfreight.com/low-pro...eel-68049.html It only needs 2-3/4" clearance to fit under a car so it's a good solution to those of us who have trouble fitting normal low profile jacks under our car. It lifts upto 20" too which is pretty impressive, the reviews on the unit seem to be solid. lol I wouldn't buy any tools from harbour freight if you want them to last.
They are outright garbage. Princess auto was having a sale a little while ago for low-profile jack, two 3-ton jack stands and some other stuff. Everything was in a package for around $90. Or here: http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/brows....jsp?locale=en |

The pittsburgh jack is a much better unit than the moto jacks and it will actually fit under a lowered car without using 2x4's. Motomaster is just generic stuff re-branded, you could order it all yourself from China if you're willing to meet their minimum order demands. Princess Auto is our alternative to Harbor Freight so no diff there. The jack listed above has been raved about on many diff car forums and there are people who have been using it for years without issue. HF gets a bad wrap for all the junk they decide to carry and I will agree that they carry a bit too much of it. Princess Auto actually carried that exact same jack re-styled with their own little colours and logos for around $180 last I recall.
