Tinted my E93 Crimson Red

Finally, I re-tinted my passenger windows from 50% to 35% myself.
Rears are 20%. (previously done by a shop)
Front windshield strip(2 piece) 2.5%.

Front doors were little tough since I dont have a garage and its always windy(need to keep the door opened) and the doors are longer as compared to a 4 door.

Here are some pics.
Removed old tint, cleaned the glass and applied new tint.

been sitting on tint myself for quite some time. 35 looks really good. not a fan of really blacked out tint. hell of a job for a DIY, nicely done

Somehow they are looking darker in the pics, may be dude to sun direction.
earlier, I had got 50%F and 20% Rear. That was looking really bad and my wife was kind of sarcastically commenting everyday...lol. so i decided to go for 35%.

good to know. maybe 35 is where i want to be. maybe a tad lighter than what i see in the pictures, which is probably more realistic in person. nice work again!

If you go 35% all over, it will be lighter and good.

Damn that looks great for a DIY! I tried tinting about 4 years ago, failed miserably, and never gave it a shot again :loo:

not a fan of sun strips on bmws, Looks kinda cheesy.. the rest looks good tho
