$30 extra/month for 36 month lease?
I was told that the BMW program for this month is a 36 month lease on a 335i. But the better deal last month was for 27 months in which the monthly payment of the car was $30 less per month than the 36 month option. The dealer mentioned residual value, but I wanted to know if there is real merit to this whopping $30 more a month just for a longer lease period. A while back if you wanted a shorter lease you had to pay more. Now i want a longer lease and they want me to pay more. I understand why, but I am just iffy about this extra $30 a month. Any insight is appreciated

Yeah the 27s are cheaper, they offered it to me when I signed. Residual value of the car is higher so the lease is less. I thought it was weird too at the time.
I went with the 36 anyway ... 27 months is too short for me, personally. Not enough time to enjoy mods.
