Sonic Tuning Coilovers? Anyone have any thoughts?

ok, so yeah, we all know Koni and Bilstein make great coilovers.. everyone swears by their setup, but I was curious, does anyone run these Sonic Tuning S1 or have experience with their build quality?

They have full damping adjustability, a linear spring, and appear fairly comparable to the others. They are not to be confused with ST (Suspension Techniques) that are rebadged KW..

Anyone have any thoughts? Handling? Ride Comfort? I figure if their spring rate is good, and the dampening adjustable, they may have some promise for my desire to lower (but not slam) my e90 for a street-driven car on crappy Chicago roads,

Sachin

What's the warranty on them? That may tell you a bit about the quality. The look good but that doesn't really tell you anything...

I just ordered a S1 set yesterday. I'll do review once everything is installed and aligned. I was going to do the S3 but after talking to Ray over the phone, we figured the camber plates would be more of a hassle on a daily driver with extra alignment skill required. For my usage and needs, the S1 made more sense.

I must say, Ray was absolutely great to talk to. Very straightforward, non pushy and lots of knowledge. I felt comfortable placing an order after I spoke to him. I feel buyers will be well taken care of should problems arise in the future with the coilovers. Early adopters assume a risk with a product which is still establishing itself in the market. But if vendors like Sonic Tuning stand behind their product, it isn't long before the product is amongst top quality choices.

What happens remains to be seen. These cars are for people who love driving. I hope the S1 coilovers help me realize more out of this "ultimate driving machine".

Thanks!

They have already been shipped. Should be here end of the week. I'll see if I can get to them by end of the next week. After that, going to need some time let them settle in, readjust on final time with an alignment and get used to the ride.

After all that, I should be able to share some honest impressions, whatever they may be. I might be impressed or might have made an expensive mistake. Either way, it would be an excellent learning experience

I want a week of proper driving before I share any experiences.
