Alignments / Spacers/ Tire/Wheel Swaps
Just thinking outlound.....
When switching out different wheels, if not same wheels - different tire sizes.....how often or not often should one get a alignment to keep tire wear in check. Anytime you change either combos ?---- which would mean a costly means if I like to change shoes..$150 alignment on average. For example, winter tars require me to put a 10mm spacer to clear brakes. Summer shows - I have 2 different tires on the same exact set/style of wheels. If I remove the spacer, the setup changes. Or Wheel #2.....has a slightly wider tire.. Just wondering. FWIW, I've pretty much had aligments done on the summer set I drive most on. Just wondering how good or bad it is to *not have the alignment* done when swapping out tars.... |

I only get alignments done when doing suspension changes. I'm pretty sure you don't need an alignment if you're just changing your wheels.

Tires and spacers have no effect on alignment/specs. Only have alignments done when bushings sag/or replacement, camber and toe is normally effected as ride height changes.
