Difference between fender rubbing on metal and felt...

Just got my car dropped on H&R Sport springs with 19x11s in the back. I got the fenders rolled, but they may be a fairly conservative roll.

I'm just wondering if there's a way to tell if when I hit a big bump on the freeway if the wheels are rubbing on the metal part of the fender or on the felt? It doesn't sound really bad, just sounds like a quick brushing/ scraping sound.

I was thinking maybe a piece of tape to see if it leaves a skidmark.

If it rubbed on the metal would it be a jerky motion / loud sound or what? Any input is appreciated, and sorry if this is confusing; i'm not really sure how else to explain this...

The tape method would work, youll know if youre hitting metal cause you would smell rubber. General tires smells like indian curry. After a while you get used to the rubbing sound or smell.

What offset on those 19x11? If it is less than 27, you should get a proper fender roll. If you stretch your tires a bit, it would help as well.
