"Awaiting Transport" status

Hey all,

Hoooray! My 328xi just finished production last night and is now in the "awaiting transport" status. I'm so excited!

What's the usual wait time for the ships to bring it over?

LOL bobnaz... don't scare the guy!

If everything goes well, it's about 4-5 weeks to reach the US depending on what coast you're in. Check out the various threads about ships "who is on the ..." type threads or "Patriot Games" thread... they'll give you an idea.

Also, be sure to check out the sticky thread for the Ultimate Tracking Guide.

*edit: check out the timeline in my sig, it's pretty accurate. My CA said to expect the car this Saturday... might have to pick it up on Monday though.

Thanks bobnaz for the link.

Ninjaneer, thanks for the reply. I'm in the midwest, so I guess it'll take a bit longer than you, fortunately being right on the coast.

Still, this is exciting news, as my sales rep originally quoted getting delivery in mid-December, but at this rate, it's possible I'll get it before end of November!

Ninjaneer,

Do you know if all Florida deliveries have to be unloaded at Charleston, SC port? or can they also be unloaded at Brunswick, GA?
