$36,000 OTD -- Good Offer?
Hey guys,
I'm buying my girlfriend a 328i and may be joining the forum, but first I need your take on this deal: 2011 328i alpine white (new) premium package value package steptronic auto trans satellite radio 1 yr sub -$1500 holiday cash $36,000 with tax, title, destination, etc. Final price out the door $36,000 for Gainesville, FL Thoughts? Thanks guys! Last edited by andrewufl; 12-30-2010 at 07:33 AM.. |

welcome! Lucky her. Did you look at the other threads in this forum? There are currently three other threads that address this deal. Go to edmunds.com and truecar.com, check out their market value prices and invoice, and negotiate from there. Will this be a buy or a lease? I was able to secure a 3000 discount off MSRP on my lease deal recently. For buys on the 328, people seem to be getting even more off. Good luck an keep us posted!

The $36k out the door price is lower than Consumer Reports bottom line pricing, but I just wanted to see if you guys have been able to achieve even greater deals.
This is a 2011. |

I'd offer lower just to see what they'd say, i've been to that dealer and they're pretty desperate for sales...

I've seen some places doing $2500 cash back for the holidays, just FYI. I thought the price sounded average for dealer prices so I wanted to confirm. I just built one on the bmwusa.com website with premium and value packages, leatherette, steptronic auto transmission, and satellite radio...$39,050. $2500 cash back puts it at $36,550. Seems like a decent deal but I think you can squeeze them for a little more.

If its for your girlfriend get the 328 new, versus a CPO 335i unless you both really need the performance. 335's are a headache with the HPFP issues and resale value.
