Damn it - this may be too good to pass up. I love the idea of running pure E85. Any issue with switching to lower OTS maps when E85 isn't available (or during the winter when E85 isn't really E85)?

Do you have anyone running pure E85 already? What sort of results are you seeing?

No issues with switching, just run the car out of E85 and switch the map. We have a few guys running full E85 and have seen gains of up 30-40 whp over a OTS map.

Further information! For the first time, the car is running in relative extreme cold temperatures in Colorado, as well as high altitude. With the current tune (Map 3 FlexFuel, or Map 0 with just the flash), the car is unusable now. I am not sure what is to blame, but the car has been throwing sufficient codes, and the lack of time to figure out what is going on means I had the car towed to a mechanic. I did post about these codes in this forum previously, but no one had any idea what was going on. Something is funky with the fueling, and that is about all I can figure out. Now, even with the car warm, it misfires 100% of the time. This is true on just 91 octane with no E85. I'm beginning to wonder whether the E85 played some role in wearing out the components very, very quickly. After all, the new fuel pump is only a year and a half old.

i talked to a few guys who said they run full e85 a couple weekends ago wonder if they are on here they had nothing but good things to say about it

Sorry for not keeping you guys updated. It turns out that the problem was localized to a really bad injector. I have two other injectors that are on their way out, but they weren't as bad as the one that was immediately replaced. It was mentioned that I should hold off on replacing the rest, because there are new injectors becoming available for the car halfway through 2014. I have absolutely zero verification on that, though. I know the injectors have historically been problematic, and that it would be helpful to finally have an aftermarket alternative.
