I just installed mine this evening, took me all of about 1 minute, just make sure you have a flashlight, the one in the glovebox in perfect. I love the shortened feel, I didn't realize there was so much dead space. The shifting experience just feels more precise overall. It's worth the money. Granted it probably costs about .50 to make, but not having to source the parts and measuring the correct length is woth the 17 dollars to me.
Great little cheap mod and perfectly paired with the CDV removal mod. |

Just installed this as well. Took 1 min. Super easy instal. Took out the dead travel space in the clutch. No problems starting and shifting. I also tried rolling down on an incline and going from 1-2-3. No issues as well. All in all, good investment!

Just installed 5 minutes ago. After seeing it, I can't believe I paid 18 bucks for it but it's an excellent mod. Clutch engagement is nearly immediate now. Thanks to the OP again for the tip! No issues on startup either.

mine just arrived. I thought about making my own as well. The problem is that it would take me an hour to head homedepot, find the parts, then get home. And if my current streak stays going, I would have to head back to home depot because something wasn't the correct size. I figured if I could save an 90 minutes, its worth the money. I cant wait till i install it.

Can't we just glue/epoxy a piece of rubber to the factory clutch stop? Find a plunger or other rubber material and just start adding layers? If people are ripping off the rubber piece fromt he stock one then it can't be held on with very strong glue in the first place.

The seller ran out of stock last week... LOL I guess to many of us have purchased it.
I just checked and he now has 74 in stock. Well, 73 actually, because I ordered one too...
