make sure you also replace the solenoids and mechatronic sleeve while you are in there.

Have you seen this issue before? Did the solenoids and sleeve help you, too?

i check with the garage and they told me they have the valve body transmission only, solenoids not available alone so i need to order it online.
i found it on www.fcpeuro.com , any one can recommend them ? or do you have any other options ?

How did you update the modules? I'm getting DME/DDE - 2A94, 29E1, 29E0, EGS - 578E, 581E, and DSC - 5E1A before I replaced the crankshaft position sensor and still getting them after. Read that sometimes the DME needs to be reflashed/reset to fully clear the adaptions.

I have BMW Tools installed with INPA, NCS, and WinFKP?

just a heads up the transmission oil is lifetime it doesnt mean what it says but if you do a change make sure you get the correct zf lifetime oil and make sure you put enough oil you fill the oil with a hand pump its not a pour job. i have had a car come to me with a busted mechatronic due to diy oil change.

i use WinFKP to update all modules.

1 Start WinKFP and select F3:- Update ZUSB
2 Select ECU type and the ECU will appear along with a list of part numbers.
3 Select ok and the main menu will re-appear
4 Select VIN and enter the cars VIN no. and select OK.
5 Select Done
6 Select Prog. ZB_update, you will be asked to confirm the update, Winkfp wil state the number of times the module can be re-programmed.
7 Sit back and wait.

zf life guard or the febi transmition fluid is the one to use and 7 litres as u dont fully drain the gearbox once it stops draining there is a substantial amount in the torque converter which is fine once you drain from the plug and changed the sump aswell start pumping oil in with the car off once it starts dripping start the engine put in neutral and carry on pumping the 7 litres until its starts to drip when the engines on and in gear stick is in neutral and u pumped all the oil it needs it starts to come back out of the fill hole which indicates its max mark.
