Question Wheel repair in SF Bay Area?

I am looking for a good wheel repair place in SF Bay Area?
And not Wheel Techniques in San Jose/Campbell.
The last time Wheel Techniques fixed a wheel of mine they did a lousy paint job and lost some parts. They also didn't do a great job on my friend's custom painted wheels, more recently.

Thanks,
Jeff

A bit of a drive but I would highly recommend:

Rite-Way Wire & Wheel Specialist
1119 Alpine Rd
Walnut Creek
(925) 933-4046

I had my DPEs and HREs repaired there as well as powdercoating and they did an amazing job

Any other places that do mobile repair work?

Or closer to the Peninsula.

Like the almighty SON TRAN in SoCal?

Do we got a god like him up here?

Question Wheel Repair in SF Bay Area

Anyone used Wheel America in Hayward? They say 24-hour turnaround and have a flat rate for any repair, including powder-coat paint for $129. They also have factory BMW wheels for ~40% off.

Question Rite-Way Wheel Repair in Walnut Creek - WTH?

What is with this place? Don't they need the business? Is this like one retired guy or something?

They are only open Tue-Fri, and never answer the phone! I have left 2 messages. And I know they are there bc my friend happens to work down the street and said they are open.

Hmmphh!

Dropped my wheels off last Thursday and they are done today! Having tires shipped to them so they can mount and balance them. Haven't seen the finished product yet but I'm going to have to trust that they're fine. Ask for Sharon or e-mail them through their website - they've been pretty responsive with me.

How did your wheels turn out?
Did they happen to check for bent wheels?

lots of people use rite way wheels for repair or refinish. Mainly it's word of mouth but they're known around the bay area. I trusted them twice with my BBS wheels, and numerous times with other sets. Never had an issue whatsoever.

Wheel Technique I didn't like, since they take forever and don't add metal to the wheels instead they shave metal off your wheel.
