holy shit man who cares already. Your just rehashing your post that you have up on e46fanatics. The 335i is a 335i and a m3 is a m3. The only thing that they have in common is that they both have 4 wheels and drive. The m3 is a good car and so is the 335i. If I wanted a NA engine I would have got a m3. But I wanted the turbos.

I own both cars and they are both great, but they are completely different animals. Great quote about both these cars that I came across "The 335i is an amazing car. The M3 is the car Jesus drives"

lol thats a great quote...honestly who cares. does anyone regularly take the car enough to the limit to notice the differences? most of us cruise on the highway at 70-85 in a straight line and do some 30-50 city driving. they are both ultimate driving machines and we should enjoy it together. until the new m3 comes out we are just comparing old vs. new technology

i dont own a 335i yet but i'd wager that a 335i can beat an M3 stock......seeing as one with a vishnu chip beat me in my buddy's slk55 amg not too long ago, i was sufficiently surprised....FCK!

K, let's all make an effort to get along...where are moderators to lock this thread up...
We all own BMWs, shouldn't be having a civil war, should be helping each other out and out-tune Benz and Audis

700hp E46 m3 on stock engine oil pan to valve cover? with compression so high in that motor how much boost are they running to gain an additional 367hp? either way I've driven an M3 but not a 335i yet so ill reserve my judgement but I will say this. an E46 m3 is a low 13 high 12 car. but my preliminary thoughts on this make me think on sea level based on power to weight I'd give the win to the M3.
