Feeler: Earthquake SWS-8XI Subwoofers and Jtsherri spacers
Just putting a feeler out for a set of Earthquake SWS-8XI (these are the newer 2 ohm versions of the SWS-8X) and a set of Jtsherri spacers.
They are literally like new – having fitted them two days ago, I decided that with these on I now have too much bass in my car (I already have a boot sub also). For me its either these or a boot sub, so I may part with these . As mentioned they are in mint condition and have only had approx 2 hours usage in total (so have not even run in yet). They are pretty much new and I still have the original boxes, manuals, packaging e.t.c – all mint too. I ordered these from the US and were quite expensive, especially with the customs charges. Just gathering interest for now but would potentially sell both subs and jtsherri spacers for £285 plus £10.00 p&p - which is a pretty good price, considering you won't be hit with customs charges as already in the UK . |

Would it be possible to fit these into a car that doesn't have subs already?

If you mean fitting these into another car, then yes it is possible, however i'd hazard a guess that you'd need a custom or generic 'off the shelve' subwoofer enclosure to accomodate these. |

Is there any chance to come and have a listen (depending on where you are) as I would be interested but in 2 minds and would prefer to listen to the difference?
are these a straight swap or is there more to it? |

Oh. My bad. I have only had mine for a week or two but I feel like it might not have them. Can you see them or do you know if there's a way to test they are working? If I can get yours in easy I would be very interested.

They are easy to spot - have a look at here. Download the PDF http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ighlight=sws-8 This is essentially the 'how to' and will help you spot where the stock subs are located exactly. Definetely a worthwhile upgrade if you don't already have a boot sub. |
