Golf tee mod question.

Guys I know this is a very annoying, this question always comes up but I really need a final answer.
For the golf tee mod, if I wanted to unplug the vaccum line, what should I use to cover the it. I dont have a vacuum plug, what else could I use? Would duck tape be good enough?

How about a "golf Tee"?
You can also use a small bolt/screw that will fit tight in the hose.

just unplug it from the inside of the trunk instead of going under the car. It does the same thing and no error is thrown and the dealer will not complain. Just do it from the trunk instead of tying that stupid hose

I just did it and it sounds great, taped off the tube,
If any of you have trouble getting the tube off use some wd40 it works great.

Also guys I know this sounds weird, but if I have the hose blocked off, and the vaccum us still trying to suck in air...would that causr any problems?

Yes but what I meant is that if the car is still trying to suck in air, but we blocked off the hole....then what happens?
Will it simply stop sucking air or is it gonna keep trying and possibly damage something??

(It has been said)based on the posts I have read here; the only thing you might suffer is a mild loss of low end torque, under the 2k range. Maybe others with firsthand knowledge can confirm or debunk this claim.

Nothing will happen. Even when it's plugged in, it's not sucking air through, it's only drawing a vacuum. It only sucks air if it's leaking.

I just don't understand why people go through the trouble doing this when they can simply unplug it in the truck. It seriously takes 30 seconds...

brought to dealer for recalls and software upgrade also with no issues.

tuck pull it back and snap it into the clip right next to the valve

its hard to get the first time because it seems like you'll snap it

just work it or make a small incision in the tip with a razor and go at it

I just took the line off and stuck a bb in the line and then stuck back on, problem solved.

without a doubt you will loose low end torque....ever more noticeable with a tune. plus most of daily driving is below 2k anyway
