Red brake light question

Did an oilchange today and decided to reset the service lights. I had the brake pads replaced about 5 months ago but did not reset the light for that. I figured since it said "6000 miles" that I would reset that too. Of course, I reset that light through the cluster and now I have a red "BRAKE" light and service message now. The brake light message on the info center now say "-----miles"

Any idea how to fix that? My pads and sensors are relatively new and didnt have any issues until I reset the message. THank you.

I would try and contact your dealer and have them reset the brake service light. If its not that, it could be that a brake wear sensor went bad or something of that sort.

Was it BMW that replaced your pads? Are you 100% sure the sensors were also replaced?
