Has anyone done a black or CF wrap on a E93 roof?
Is it possible? Am I asking for trouble with one of the most expensive systems on the car?
I have an Alpine White E93, and I kind of like some of the E92 roof jobs I've seen. Just wondering if anyone has done it with the convertible hardtop and what the cost/complexity is like. Thanks for any feedback.

i think the real issue is the body line is not there.
on the coupe or sedan there is a flat roof, and an easy cutoff where the roof rails are. on the Vert, you have those moldings sort of at the edges of the flat part, but most likly youd have to do the whole roof (like the sides around the rear windhsield, and all the way to the window trim) The whole black roof trend was soposed to make it look like a panoramic roof, but if you do it to the vert, it just looks like you have a cloth top instead of the hardtop. i have been thinking of doing the same thing.....but just dont think it will look right. this isnt about a white car but it may be useful to you http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...=634740&page=4 |

JYohay,
Wow! Did that ever change my mind! Thanks for the feedback and link. Nevermind the idea of contrasting roof on an E93.
