F30 Shift Knob conversion

What up yall.

I was thinking about changing to a F30 Carbon Fiber Knob from the stock shift knob for my 08 E90 335. I want to display the gear indicators on both the knob and the stock. I picked one up from Amazon but it was only displaying on the knob. However, I reviewed some customer reviews that contain images, some have indicators on both and some don't. How can I install to show indicators on both? Attaching a pic. of what I may buy off eBay next. Thanks.

My shift-knob only lights the knob. There is an ambient glow on the console which is nice.

You might need to do some soldering. They dont sell an attachment to have both light up
