Well, not really. There're some circuits around, but most of them are closed for public, but they allow clubs to organise track days.
I found one close to Geneve and the nearest event was organised by Porsche club Geneve. So I gave it a try, but as you might probably guess, they didn't reply

It's all about timing!

Between the "Apero" and "Food" would be perfect...

Can't create a post so ill focus this one at you guys

Just wondering what are the limitations we face in our beautiful country, when it comes to modding. I havnt really considered my previous cars as being worth tuning, but with a turbo under the hood and decent HP to start with why not. So I was consider jb4 which leads to intakes and DPs and exhaust, PE for sure then Rob posted for COBB and well have to see where that goes before going the jb4 way. Especially as I just had to get some nice Dunlop winter 4ds.

So I know homologation is a big thing here and so are emissions tests.

Therefore the question is: what can and can't be done without any hassle?
I believe police here are trained to spot certain things when it comes to this.. Noise i guess.. The I assume intakes as they would pull you over?

Is PPK worth it if I go for jb4 or Cobb? Cause 2k for 20hp...
Any mod friendly garage recommendations?

I would appreciate some input quoting bmw_belgier as is by far the most active around these parts has the same car, is in the Swiss German part and speaks English.. Plus I believe I saw is getting DPs?! Just trying to get ur attention

Cheers

Hi there

Well i am around here sometimes...

I'm waiting for COBB to enter the game. JB4 is to much of a hassle...

I have the PPK installed. Just software so... I it is worth it if you don't want to explain your dealer why your turbo went broke... I will use it as an alibi when i install COBB. That was my second thought

And i have the PE So f*cking great

Don't have dp's yet... Probably going for a FMIC first when COBB arrives. Dp's are just so police-dangerous... Dähler in Bern does some dp modification wich will let you pass inspection... but they aren't giving it for free...

I saw you have the same model i have Wich part of Zürich do you live? I work in Freienbach so if you want, you can visit me and you can try the PPK for yourself...

Now that's a result! Lol

I work in Duebendorf and live not far. Loving the country roads!! Not many left in the French part where you can release the ponies

I found a Swedish company BSR that are not far from uetendorf among other but like most tuning places. No love for the N55. But 60hp for 2k on N54 and you can add DPs intake and exhaust. Looks like a Cobb style tune too. Seems like the even give you a warranty kinda like Dinan.

Might mail them to see their plans for N55, they should have an idea by now.

Loving the solidarity and will for sure take you up on the offer at some point. Loads going on at the moment. Just got back from the Abu Dhabi GP and have booked a track day in an F430 at plaisir de conduire in ligniere, hoping they will let me do some laps in my ride too

The only one here in Switzerland is Dähler... But he is so expensive... Does have some very good feedback!

If you do find somebody else, please share

Just let me know when you're in for some PE and PPK testing My offer is valid

Bsrtuning

So BSRtuning.ch

Came back with:

Hello,

Nothing is planned for your car for the moment.
So we can't do nothing for you, unfortunately.
But the BSR's R&H move fast so you can try to write us at the beginning of the next year.

Best regards.

Gary Perrenoud

maybe they too are waiting for Cobb

It doesn't surprise me... We are just on the other side of the world... And our dear friends of the police and mfk...

I'll be one of the first COBB users in Europe You can be sure of that
