2012 335i Coupe E92 Wheel Fitment Question...

I am considering putting the Avant Garde M368 wheels on my 2012 335i Coupe and I am wondering about fitment. The wheels come in 19 x 8.5 and 19 x 9.5 and the stock size of my present wheels is 19 x 8 and 19 x 9. Does this present any problems if I use my existing tires (they're only 1200 miles old) on the new wheels? Do I risk not having any sidewall protection for the wheels since I am stretching them just a tad by going to the wider wheels? We're talking only .5" here.

And further, are cast aluminum wheels a viable option for these cars or are they too weak to withstand the rigors of everyday use without bending/cracking? Should I pay the premium for forged wheels?

Are these low-pressure cast or gravity cast?

Low-pressure cast wheels are generally stronger than gravity cast.

Pretty sure all Avante Garde wheels are low-pressure cast.

I think you should be fine, but it depends on the offset of the wheels too
