LIMP MODE
So i took my SSTT out to have my car serviced.I got my car back and drove
about 100 hard miles with no issues.Car was sitting for three days and today decided to put my SSTT back in. After I installed it and taking it for a test drive I get limp mode . I'm like what the hell.I shut car off and restart no lime mode.I do a couple WOT runs and limp again. Decided to remove SSTT to run stock and after about 15-20 mins of driving limp mode back.I don't have a code reader so i guess it's back to the dealer. So since i removed SSTT I know it's not the problem.I can drive fine until i start hammering it and it goes limp.Do you guy think my fuel pump is starting to go? |

Maybe yes. Any slow starts? Maybe (hope, hope) a bad load of gas.

limp mode without other symptoms is generally not indicative of a fuel pump failure. I'd get the code read at autozone or something and go from there...

No slow starts I'm hoping it is just a bad tank of gas. I just ran it dry and pumped in some fresh fuel from Chevron.Last fill up was Shell.I've done a couple WOT runs no limp yet.Like you said hope it was just some bad gas.
