Send Harold @ HP Autowerks a PM. Say Philip with the black 135i sent you. He may be able to get you a good price since they sell alot of the Quaife units.

Hello
Heard a lot of good things about the quaife Drexler is also known in Europe for producing excellent mechanical lsd's. But they are expensive and may produce some driving noise... |

LSD is a must have upgrade for these cars. Street or track.
PM Mike@VAC. VAC will do a pumpkin swap w/ deposit. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=670174 I wouldn't go anywhere else but VAC ...

I just got a Wavetrac LSD from Harold, best place to get them hands down. Great guys great shop.
Love my Wavetrac, its fantastic. And LOTS cheaper than the Quaife equivalent. just my 2cents but wavetrac all the way, save you some cash while not losing anything ud get from the quaife |

Do a quick search and you'll find my .02$ on the matter.
Long story short, I had a wavetrac installed at VAC. Ran into some problems with it and after a through diagnosis, discovered it was a manufacture defect. They are actually more common than you'd think on wavetracs. Search for clunking wavetrac and you'll see what I mean. VAC replaced the unit with a Quaife under warranty. I just paid the difference in cost between the two units. Overall excellent customer service experience. Stick with VAC. You won't go wrong. |
