Intake??

So im looking at getting an intake..

Some people say it doesnt really do anything but then ive also heard that it does make a lil bit of a difference if your car is modded

My car has
-JB3 Stage 2
-Akrapovic Exhaust
-Berk Downpipe
-Active Autowerke FMIC( just got it getting it installed next week or so)
-ordering a chargepipe this weekend

so what do you guys think?
which one should i get?

AFE or Injen?

It will help for sure with your mods but don't expect more than 10hp I would say (maybe not even that much) have never heard bad reviews about either intake. If you want a more classy and discreet look go with the afe if you don't really care go with injen... Or you can wait till the BMS comes out which will be much cheaper...

Can't go wrong with either one between injen or aFe stage 2. BMS is coming out with one real soon and should be cheaper in cost. I couldn't wait so I went ahead and picked up an aFe stage 2 (new) as it will be at my doorstep early next week I'll do the install myself as it shouldn't be that much difficult.

I read a lot about both these intakes before I bought mine. Both have fitment issues. I went with injen it was rubbing on my hood, I pushed it down a little and now it's fine. There both great IMO. Pick whichever one looks better for you.

+2 - BMS will address the fitment issues from both afe and injen. I am talking with afe designers this coming week to address the fitment issues with them - also, they agreed to take my unit back for a full refund after 9 months.

does the injen have any fitment issues with an aftermarket FMIC? or just the charge pipes?

Since you have JB tune, may as well go with BMS intake. It's cheap
