Date format

Hi everyone,
i was wondering if you can change the format of the date. it seems to preset itslef to the format of MM/DD/YY - being an english gentleman i tend to be used to the format of DD/MM/YY - does anyone know if it is possible to change it?
thanks in advance
Dave

Hey Dave, Makesure you come and say hello to the rest of the UK crew if you haven't already.

Follow the link to the UK in the regional forums.

SJ

N.b. think you'll have to live with the date thing, it's probably a master forum setting or something.

If you're wondering about the format on the forum, I don't know. But if it's about the format on the car, yes, it can be changed easily if you have iDrive. You did get iDrive, didn't you?

even with out i drive, you can easily change it. use the on board computer (turn signal stalk) and go into the settings for date and time. you should see it. the manual shows how to do it too.

Yep there should be a UK English version vs a US English version. However it does change all your displays and formats to the selected language.
