Pls tell me why I should NOT get these?

I don't get it. A caliper is $300-$400. This "OES" one is $30. whaaaat??

I'm in the middle of pending brake work and I saw these bare-bones calipers (would need to re-use the carrier) while shopping for parts and wondered why they would be 1/10th the price?

You gotta wonder though, do you want to be riding around with calipers you bought at an 87% off liquidation sale? That's a lot to put your safety into.
