HAHA! The DIY part of this review will be obviously be different... errr non existent, but I will still have plenty of info. I will have my own independent dyno info too. Maybe my GoPro Hero 2 will get a workout. LOL!

Did shiv and co. give you an estimated timeline. I know it would be nothing concrete but maybe like a 4-5 week range?

pits200, their communication has been tremendous thus far. They are hoping for a turn around in under 3 weeks. If anyone has done this before like I have then they know that is FAST.

Wow, 3 weeks thats amazing. Reason I ask, Im excited to hear some reviews from a forum member instead of just shiv. Nothing against shivs car but they probably will have worked out some of the small bugs they had on their car while doing the install on yours.

So I'm guessing shipping will take 1 week each way, then we'll say 4 weeks to account for some delays than 1 week back.

So to get your car back in about 1 month makes me shed a tear. I'm excited for you! haha.

I still want to see what the xi can do, wonder when that will happen.

@pits200 - I'll let you know how it goes. So far I'm pretty happy with the progress and the communication. I asked for some possible tweaks and they've been accommodating.

I fully agree. Independent reviews are critical. Without them, you really don't know what you are getting in to.

If you only knew how excited I am! I really want to put 10s down on this car.

Well my car has arrived and the tear down is under way. I will try to update everyone as the process continues, but I did want everyone to know it has begun.

There really isn't a better guy than FBIS to write a review of the single turbo.

It would be awesome to have a single turbo thread dedicated to letting those with single turbos write their reviews and answer questions for other forum members. As long as we kept it civil and on topic.

Brey335i, thank you. I have tried hard to explain different options for the N54 over the last few years. This is an important review and I cannot wait to write it. I will have independent dyno info and some interesting GoPro stuff too.

You rock FBIS. When new to the forum two years ago I read several of your threads. Seemed like you disappeared for awhile but are back when it counts. I am nearing the end of my warranty and cannot afford to be a guinea pig so to speak. Therefore, I was very excited to see someone with your level of detail conducting a review. The forum will benefit greatly and I just want to say TIA.

Thank you dsbj. I hope I can answer some questions when I get the car back and continue in the coming months.
