Number plate LED bulbs

Hi all,

I have replaced my number plate bulbs with CANBUS - Error Free - 6LED bulbs from eBay which have been fine.

However, the right side bulb keeps turning upside down inside the housing when the boot is opened/closed.

Any ideas how to get it to stay put on a 2007 E92?

Also, can these bulbs cause any issues with the electrics? I know modern BMWs require careful electrical maintenance and all.

I would also like to replace all interior bulbs with LEDs. Any recommended sellers I can go to?

Thank you,

I'm sure you can just bend the contact terminals a tad to made it a firmer hold. I had this issue when I replaced some of my bulbs to LED.

I had the exact same problem. Solution was to buy slightly bigger ones so they fit more snug. I tried the above but it eventually worked free again.

Forgotten what MM They were but I think I went from 36/37 to 39mm.

Just had a look and it's fallen into the trunk lid. Any ideas on how to get it out of there? I'm slightly OCD with my car so if there is a way I'd like to take a look

EDIT: I managed to prise the trim on the inside of the boot lid and it fell right to me. I slightly bent the metal on either side to give it a snug hold. Let's see if it lasts.

Glue it in, a light film of glue on the end will hold just don't paste it on to stop the electrical contact or so you damage it when removing
