20 inch? Wtf

So a friend wants to trade his 20" BBS. Pretty aggressive.
I have an e92 xi.
It's going to look dumb, right?

At least you can run 30. The 25 makes it look like you don't have tires.

I wouldnt do it. Too much rim. Maybe swap for his BBS and sell them (if they are legit BBSs) and then buy whatever rims you want?

just an idea, i love your current setup though.

20's work on the e92 with the big ass wheel arches. On the e90 they look super weird.

Not only the large arch.
But the stepped lip of the bbs looks really good.

BUT can you handle the ride?
I really want to run 20" BBS LM-Rs but I'm worried about the right.
People say you need to run 30front 25 rear... Plus taller bump stops to prevent suspension travel.
is this true?
Because it would lead to a very hard ride wouldn't it?

Looks so damn good. I would just be worried about the ride being too harsh

For some reason the last 2 images won't work the stars are meant to say "[Admin Notified]"

Why can't I post simple pics from b.i.m.m.e.r.b.o.o.s.t?

Don't forget that is also an m3.
20" on an m3 is nothing.

20 is a deal breaker. Drivability plummets and it's just ridiculous looking, at least on my car. 19s are my sweet spot.

You had 20s?
Yea, for about a month a couple of years ago. They came off like a prom dress and were promptly sold, and I bought my current 19" 199 blacks

For a daily driver I would be too scared to go to a 20" rim... LM Rins with a stepped lip look much better in a 20" IMO, but a 19 does look better in most rims.

I'm on Bilstein pss9 no taller bump stops or anything rides fine. As for tires if my wheels where 20x9 or 20x9.5 i would have went 225/35. I was force to do 225/30 less stretch on 8.5. Cause they don't make 215/35 for 20's. If your offsets are not semi aggressive and plan to run normal size tires on ur wheels stick with 19's.

I need a photo shoot ASAP!

I use to drive a g35 with 9.5 225/35 10.5 245/35 19's and i feel like the ride with the 20's is the same. Here's a photo of my ex

20s work/look okay when they have a step lip.

with a flat lip or no lip (like the CX-R), it just looks ridiculous on any e9x
