Then just run either Cobb, Procede or JB4 without autotuning active, set your map to not add timing advance and its exactly what you will get.

I think autotuning on medium term (not instantly) using all the cylinders noise activity (averaging and targeting some aggressiveness factor) would be the best solution.

It seems to me that the ignition timing/knock detection system used by the DME is VERY good as is. But I'm interested to see what shiv does, as long as the readings are actual CAN outputs not calculations made by the PROcede.
Good point.

I don't like giving teasers but I will say that this new function will do more than just monitor things

Any updates? I'm in great need of this.

From talking with Robert at Vishnu earlier last week, they're still working hard on the single turbo implementations/finalizing kits/tuning on automatics/etc. The individual cylinder monitoring is next in line.

And when used on a DME that didn't support individual cyl timing logging, it would cause a response error with the entire logging command so no CAN data would be recorded. Now that we are a lot more familiar with different DME software types, this is something we hope to revisit soon. I suspect there is a switch that needs to be flipped on the DME software versions that don't support this natively.

I guess I must be one of the few. I am able to tune on it pretty efficiently.

I use procede stacked with a custom backend flash which controls fueling directly.

Procede was not so great at that but otherwise it's been a great platform.

Primarily boost control and meth control for me at this point.....all other functions delegated to the backend.

A custom-tuned Cobb map would be the way to go if I bought again today, but I don't want to spend another $1K on an aquamist meth kit when the procede meth kit is built by them anyways and integrates nicely into the Procede.

Gotta admit it lacks multiple cylinder timing though......however I keep my timing advance pretty low anyways, so I have a bit of room before hitting the knock threshold.

It seems that no two 335i cars are alike. Everyone seems to have their own thing. Interesting!
