Around the corner basically from 21st ammendment is ChaChaCha (2327 Mission). They are an excellent tapas bar, mojitos, sangria
We usually start there, eat, drink, and walk over to 21st., drink, and drink so more.

harrington just downstairs of my office. every friday, oh man, you can't even find a spot to stand. but that's the good place to go during st. patric day, because they will block the whole block for party.

J... you looking for just chill bars, or more the club scene? There's a million and a half good bars. XYZ is very chill --but that might be why you are bored. The crowd there is much older than 24 also.

I'm out in the city every weekend man. We should have a norcal e90post party. Hahaha.

If you're looking for just a chill bar to hang out at... XYZ is one of my favorites, there's also Mr. Smith's a few blocks away (7th, and Stevenson/Market), Alpha Bar (more asian scene) in the Richmond, Slide (there's an actual slide in there www.slidesf.com)... and a bunch of other ones... but those are the ones I've been to lately.

Are you looking for more bars or clubs? If you want clubs, I got a whole other list for you. And what scene are you looking for? I go mostly to asian clubs cuz I'm kinda fobby... but I hit mixed-crowd bars every now and then too.

in the south bay, you can bar hop at santana row. one of the places is v-bar, which is a pretty nice bar, but since they no longer let you go outside, it can get overly crowded. it can also be some what snobby at times, though some are thirty thousand dollar millionaires.

in downtown sj, there's temple. strong drinks at good prices, but it always gets way too crowded. they play awesome hip hop there though.

also in downtown sj, tiki could be considered a bar, but i think it's more like a small club. gets very crowded too, and it's a pretty young college crowd.

loft is a pretty cool spot in downtown sj, but it seems to be hit or miss at times. they have a cool upstairs outdoor chill area patio. the crowd is older, more like late 20's and early 30's. first friday of every month is 80's night, for those into 80's music.

others in downtown sj... there's fahrenheit, which is suppose to be the high end place, but it's always pretty dead. mission ale house, a.k.a. mission male house. then there's places like sj bar & grill, that are kinda ghetto imho.

hey xcalibr, you ever been in slide? how is that place?
i'm planning on throwin a party there in a couple weeks and have heard it's a nice place, but the bouncers can be an ass with guys trying to get in, even with bottle service and even ratio of girls to guys. and how's the dance area? thanks!
