Thumbs up VAC Motorsports - Philadelphia, PA | Your 1 Stop Shop for BMW Performance (updates!)

Hey guys, since VAC is new to the forums, I wanted to post up some info so you all know who we are and what we do. We have a lot of interesting things going on here so I wanted to share as well. Now, it may not all be e9x related...but it is all BMW Daily/weekly/monthly? expect some updates!

I joined VAC a few months ago but have been in the performance aftermarket since 2002 - most recently as a national sales manager for a $70m performance parts company. E36 race car - revved about 1500rpm too high. Total loss may be the best way to describe it. Ouch!

WOW

Look at all those wires!!

Taking everything out of the car = good weight reduction though.

Welcome to the board!

I'm running a 2006 330i (e90) and really would like to add some major HP.
I have the Dinan CAI, throttle body and exhaust. There isn't much else I can do to the engine.

Have you guys ever done an engine build on the e90 N52?
I'd really like to get about 350hp out of my engine.

Sloppy: thanks!

BBS: PM sent. Ugh.

AW: Funny you ask Ironically, we just developed a set of N52 pistons and rods for an international race customer. Here are the stock bits They have a 300whp goal with a all out race car on race fuel - the engines are very challenging. Please email sales@vacmotorsports.com for more info. I will make sure Chris responds to all of your questions - he is the engine guru.

N54 bits. Does that early piston look forged to you?

Ali: Thanks man!

N55 internals - no prob. LMK when you are ready There are a few folks working on turbo upgrades....not sure we need to spend time on that.

Ali - lets do it. I have an idea, should have more tomorrow.

Brandon:

Joe: You know it. I sent you an email after the Stock...not sure if you saw it.

brk: Thanks man. Hope to post more cool stuff.

This turbo E36 came in for: Full body/paint/suspension/brakes/wheels/aero/interior. It's easily one of my favorite cars ever. Proper photo shoot is coming soon. We built out the rear arches a few inches....looks awesome.

Mike, i dont mean to call you out on whose working on the turbo upgrade, but its only cuz I dont know who is officially working on it. Do you have any more info on this? My guess is that i'd upgrade the turbo first, then when shit breaks is when i'll upgrade internals
