Wedge @ Shift S3ctor Airstrip Attack: April 6th and 7th

Wedge's 490 hp FBO BMW 335i Vs TMO's 600 hp Single Turbo BMW 335i
** I got the jump and then coded at the end of the run, but the ST is FAST... Just watch how much fast he's going at the finish.

Wedge's 490 hp FBO BMW 335i Vs 485 hp GTR

Wedge's 490 hp FBO BMW 335i Vs 480 hp AMG C63

Wedge's 490 hp FBO BMW 335i Vs 450 hp Camaro 1LE
** Methanol shut down 100 yards to the finish and I almost lost...

Wedge's 490 hp FBO BMW 335i Vs 440 hp BMW M3
** Engine coded 3/4 the way down the track and I still won!

Wedge's 490 hp FBO BMW 335i Vs 580 hp BMW e46 M3 Turbo
** After cleaning my meth nozzles, I over sprayed causing the meth to shut down again... But that's racing.

Big thanks to HPF, Vishnu, FFTEC, and BMS...

Is it the camera angle, or do you have a one car lead at the start of every one of those races?

I was just about to ask this. Almost seems like you're going WOT quite a bit before the starting point. Could be the angle though.

Anyways, congrats on the wins. While the video's make everything look slow, you forget that a couple grand will have you on par with GTR's, Turbo M3s, and much more.

Angle.. With a little bit of fish eye, it's hard to tell, but the races that counted I waited until the cone to get on it. The race with the Camaro was for the Tier 3 (500HP) Tuner ShootOut. They actually had a line judge to ensure we didn't jump.

Thanks ATown... Upgraded turbos on the e9x is the way to go. I have tapped the limits of the stock turbos and without any other power adds, it's upgrade time.

I had the highest trap times for the 300 - 500 HP and trapped just over 147 mph. Doesn't sound all that fast considering 1/4 traps, but you have to remember the amount of ground you are covering doesn't really give you much time to accelerate after the 1/4 mile mark and it was actually 4.5 tenths of a mile. We also didn't see much of an advantage of rolling out at 40 vs 50. Everyone was very consistent throughout the day regardless.

BTW, if you think 147 on stock turbo's doesn't sound all that fast... RB turbos were only 5 mph faster throughout the day.

I still can't believe ETS hit 202 mph with their street GTR. That's one sick car.

Taran, what are you doing brother. Dump that 328 and get a 335. Tell the Ps it's an auspicious time to do so. If you add the numbers, 328 is an unlucky 13 and 335 is a lucky 11. It's a win win man... You know I'm right. You also need to have a puja for your new car. I'm there...

Thanks Ken but I'm looking forward to a c63 Amg Black, to add to my collection of weekend cars. This started as every other 4 door German saloon I use daily for work as a beater, but I've become keen to it over my 2008 c350, and 2010 Audi A4. Even though I took a hit back in "years" this being a 2007 couldn't resist the price when the Punjabi came out of me haha But I don't like turbo cars for DD, always in the back of my head "Im gonna blow this f$:@-& thing today!" Haha
