Need help Identifying car!

So my good friend just got a new car yesterday and she has been teasing me for the past two days about what it is. She srive an s550 and a c63 right now, so I'm expecting something nice.
Finally, she just sent me this pic, but I'm no good with identifying mercs. Can anyone tell what Merc this is?

Looks like an SLK. Not 100 percent sure though.

Except the SL you took a pic of has black dials as opposed to the OP's pic with silver ones.

The fact that she has an C63 and S Class makes an SL more plausible than an SLK...no point backtracking.

Sounds like an SL. Told her I knew it was an SL and I told her to get an SLS instead...

The other give away it's an SL is the vent on the hood you can see just above the instrument panel.

Don't think it's an AMG bc the speedo only goes to 160 and it doesn't say AMG anywhere on the instrument cluster.
