VMR V710 vs. Avant Garde m310
Which ones would you perfer, or other. I just like the style of the VMR and heard that the Avant are stronger.

I like the Avant Garde personally and they are made with a low pressure cast system which makes them stronger then some of the other rep companies. Ive got some in stock if you need some help on them, drop me a PM

Does the availability of a certain finish from either VMR or Avant Garde factor into your purchasing decision also? Or are you concerned primarily with the actual design of the 2 wheels & their durability?

I will want a matte black if I do get them. eAs carries the matte black and bimmerpost has the matte black avant. I am just wondering what other people think about the choices.

Avant Garde if they are in fact stronger. I dented my last set of VMR's. They look great though but I believe there are a few threads that speak on there durability on here.

Many forum members on here have the VMR V710s with absolutely no problems. Check out our thread with live inventory to check to see if your color of choice and fitment is available to order.

The Avant Garde M310 is a low pressure cast, increasing the quality and decreasing the weight when compared to gravity cast wheels. The Avant Garde 310 type Wheels are also stronger with a higher load rating than most other low pressure cast wheels on the market today. Avant Garde has designed the M310 wheels a patented way to give them more strength without adding extra weight. The Avant Garde 310 Wheels have a staggering 815kg/1835lb load rating as well. I'll drop you a PM with more details! In the meantime here are a few more pictures for you to check out!

go with avant garde. they are stronger and look better. I love the vb3 but everyone is running that. this is different.
I am waiting to receive a set of AG's from Craven soon. I highly recommend getting them form him, great prices as well.

I bought the AG M310's Matte Black 19x8.5 front's and 19x11 REARS!!! These rims are amazing I highly recommened. VMR is good too. Also the Avant Garde's have a better CONCAVE to them rather than the VMR. You can't go wrong with either one

i'm torn between vmr 710 or avant garde m310 both look exactly the same, looking to get 19" in hypersilver for my E90 AW. What do you guys suggest? VMR seem very popular, but avant garde supposedly has better quality.

To clear up a bit of confusion in here, our VMR V710's are offered in 8.5/9.5/10 and 11" wide fitments. Though the 11" is not recommended for a Non-M, it can be done with some elbow grease.
19x10 +38's will be the most aggressive, directly bolt-on fitment. Our V710's are offered in a Hyper Silver, Gun Metal, or Matte Black. Custom finishes are also available. -Charles@VMRWheels

What is the price difference between the two?
I have also been looking at both of these wheels. I dont think I want 19s since a lot of people say the ride is harse... I must be an old fart... I believe I will go to 18s... Currently have the stock 16s on a base model 2006 325i. Do either of these vendors offer a tire wheel package? I dont have PM rights yet. email me if you wish at gboyd@optilink.us Greg |
