I guess I'll just start posting proof like he likes to try to do...I'm actually only posting this because at one point in this....you did tell me I was "Wrong" instead of actually showing any proof....so here you ..here's a start..proving my point...Or we can look at all the numbers from last summer...where Dallas avg'd considerably higher temps throughout the year...like it always does..and not just a couple degrees...and with humidity...NOT AS HIGH...but it's still there...it IS NOT dry in Dallas...

http://www.weather.com/weather/tenda...+USTX0617:1:US

http://www.weather.com/weather/tenda...+USTX0327:1:US

I would take low 90's with a little more humidity vs. 100-105 a little less humidity (BUT STIIL HUMID) any day. Not to mention it is cooler in the mornings/evenings with those lower temps.

i like how you post basic weather guestimations for the week, but you fail at getting into the details of the ACTUAL temperatures and humidity,

Current Conditions

Houston
82 degrees
79%
feels like 90

Dallas
81 degrees
69% humidity
feels like 85

**yawn**

Houston is hotter even at 8:45AM

p.s.

just in case you think i'm "lying" to you, here are the current conditions for Houston and Dallas.

must be nice to have a 9mph breeze

come down to Houston where it's hotter, there is more humidity and there is no breeze

You're right though. And I presented the data. The fact is that Dallas avgs about 10% difference in humidity throughout the summer than Houston. And avgs about 5 degrees more. Yet I'm a kid and un-educated just for saying so. And Austin has almost the same humidity with higher avgs. Yet for some reason, everyone thinks Houston is a hell on Earth compared to those two cities. For some reason they think Dallas is this dry place compared to Houston. I grew up there and I remember humidity and high as hell temps. So that is just false. I NEVER said Dallas has higher humidity like someone said. I'm just saying that OVERALL, the summer in Dallas is worse. The temps are usually higher and it is humid. But if humidity is the be all-end all in your mind....then I guess the avg 10% difference makes Houston the hell on earth compared to Dallas in your minds. I'm being told I'm wrong yet I posted the facts and you can look them up elsewhere I'm sure. Even though I haven't LIVED in Houston, I've spent days there in the middle of the summer and experienced the humidity/heat. I was there last summer right in the middle of one of the worst it's ever seen. I didn't think it was any worse than Dallas. And I lived in Biloxi for a summer. That place is more humid avging a couple degrees less in the summer than Houston. So with your thinking, that place is worse than Houston. And that place didn't bother me as much as Dallas did overall.

This argument is actually pretty stupid. Dallas, Houston and Austin are actually VERY close in overall heat in the summer. I just get irritated when people always knee jerk when Houston is mentioned like it's SOOO much hotter there just because it's a little more humid.

But I know I will be told I'm just wrong and that's it. So I don't know what else to say. I know these are long, boring posts but....
Well, I've lived in Dallas (19yrs), Austin (4yrs) and Houston (5yrs) and Houston is hotter than both Austin and Dallas more days out of the year.

Yes, Dallas and Austin do get hot, but they have a lot more cooler/cold days than Houston.

You will not be able to truly understand why people say Houston is hotter until you actually live in the city over a year.

^^^Well that's a hell of a lot better come back. Not filled with eyes being rolled and other shit.

I don't know what else to do...I've made all the points I can...posted links showing the avgs. If you don't want to believe them...there's nothing more to do.

I was only talking summer BTW...the rest of the year...you are correct...Houston rarely gets any kind of winter. But Dallas can see some pretty cold days along with snow/ice pretty often.

Again Litos...all you do is post one current reading from somewhere. I've been posing AVG's!!!! Throughout the summer, Dallas avgs substantially higher temps. AND throughout the summer the avg daily humidity is about 10% lower. So IN MY OPINION, its worse there. Like I said, I HAVE lived in more humid places that avg about the same temps as Houston. So I have experienced it. And I think the higher temps are worse.

And again...I NEVER said Houston wasn't more humid. But you act like Dallas is some dry place. It's not...it's humid also and has higher temps usually. Sure there will be days where Houston has higher temps...if say Dallas is getting rain and Houston isn't.

OVERALL....IMO....it's worse there. But you're right, I haven't lived there.

There's no need for all the stupid, childish little eye roll/laughing/calling me a kid shit.

Just make a point and we'll debate....why is that so hard for you instead of acting like a child?

You just refuse to concede ANY point whatsoever...

In your mind, Houston is the hottest place...no friendly opinion debate or any kind with you. You seem like a lot of the snotty little punks that come on here...and I've seen it in other threads with you too.....why I keep coming back in here and reading your BS is beyond me...but I guess I will...it is sorta fun...

BTW it's funny you only post a current condition occassionally. Look at the forecast for this week...Dallas is quite a bit worse...ok (I'll concede)....the humidity is 15-20% higher so maybe it's even in the end...if you believe index means anything. Y'all will be sweating a little more down there...

Damn nice forecast the next few days out there. Meanwhile it's scorching all week in Dallas....105-110 this week. But that's pretty normal.

Sorry couldn't help it...but I'm wrong no matter what happens.

Boy you sure are king of comebacks.

A real winner you are....not a single good post at all....just stupid, dickhead jibberish.

And that's been the case in the past...in another thread where "Everyone" agreed....

But I guess losers like you are a must on this forum...at least it makes it more interesting..

Oh and here's your "guestimates" smart guy. Boy you seem real bright. Can't believe I wasted time with someone as useless as you on here. But it was fun at times. Hopefully you'll grow up eventually....

Did you even look at the humidity factor in those? That changes this dramatically.
Look at the feels like portion of the site...
http://www.intellicast.com/Local/Wea...ation=USTX0617
http://www.intellicast.com/Local/Wea...ation=USTX0327

When you involve high humidity to the mix, pure temperature numbers do not tell the whole story. This site gives you that effect.

To tie it together I think you guys should use Heat Index as it accounts for Relative Humidity...http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/oa/climate/...ndexchart.html

OK...what a mature post/comeback....instead of acting like a child and calling names...which is how most people are nowadays when you try to have a disagreement/debate.

With those postings, that's def a head shot. But the one thing I don't understand...why does the outlook below show 90/low 90's for highs...yet 102 for the current actual temp? It's not rhetorical...just asking. The forecast for the next few days is rediculously in my favor...index or not. The highs for Dallas are 106-108 actual....and the one thing that I've been trying to say OVER AND OVER....is that Dallas is not dry. I NEVER once said Houston wasn't more humid. I'm simply saying that Dallas AS A WHOLE (I don't know why this can't get through) is generally worse. Because of it's HIGHER temps and it's humidity (I KNOW...NOT AS HIGH AS HOUSTON). We can go back and forth day to day...week to week and the pendulum will swing. I just have found that IN MY OPINION....that higher temps (with lower humidity) vs. lower temps (with higher humidity) is worse OVERALL...OVER THE WHOLE SUMMER. I guess I should specify climate I guess...and I have lived in both climates for years.

So maybe if I moved to Houston for a while, I'd change my mind. Or maybe the weather readings I've seen on the web are lies?

Either way..this is how you have a debate about it....at least how adults do it...

Here's right now....

http://www.weather.com/weather/right...+USTX0617:1:US

http://www.weather.com/weather/right-now/USTX0327:1:US

So 18% more humid.....but Dallas is worse overall....higher index....so you guys can post one day's current readings...but when I show this....I guess it doesn't count...

Good lord....tomorrow isn't even close...

http://www.weather.com/weather/tomorrow/USTX0327 > humid and rediculous.

http://www.weather.com/weather/tomorrow/USTX0617 > 27% more humidity but the temps difference is huge...and Dallas will have an index too.

So I agree...Houston could be a little more uncomfortable (little more sweat) but the HEAT is worse in Big D.

And Wednesday is even more so...as is the rest of the week. If you follow this throughout the summer....it stays pretty much the same give or take a few days. And that's all I'm arguing...the summer. Winter is another argument, lol. I'll take Houston's winter any day too....Dallas gets cold...

You got me there, this week is the worst I have seen it since I've been here. Granted its only been 3 months. But I guess its personal preference, I cannot stand high humidity at all. I will take lower humidity and higher temps. And we are talking a 10 degree difference in temps ( 95 vs 105 ) with a 20% difference in humidity.

Yet most people like talking about the weather. That's what I've found at work. Most don't really know anything (like litos). They just say what they think and if you disagree and put forth the facts, they don't like that and pout like little babies like litos
