Power comes on earlier, stronger, and smoother. This thing totally hauls.

Let me say that the meth transition that was already near impossible to notice is now truly unnoticable. At all throttle positions the meth is seamless and works incredibly well. Boost comes on even earlier now.

We also faked the proceed to thinking the car was running lean and boom, the proceed cut throttle to the car and gave a lean run code.

Awesome work Shiv.

I have got to try this for myself.

honestly i like the stages choices than autotuning. i can pick to be conservative for my DD.

Autotuning keeps the engine safe and happy compared to a fixed stage.

There is nothing unsafe about running the proper stage.

The only benefit of autotuning would be someone who is going through many extremes; i.e. large temperature changes, humidity, elevation changes, or even more extreme changing mods and octane ETC

For the majority the right stage would be on point.

At the end of the day there are 99% of other platforms that run one stage , 1 tune for their modifications and they run seamlessly. When tuned correctly nothing would be wrong. That is what the datalogs are for. We are lucky to have an even smarter car then the average car out there.

My last car that I tuned had to be running a perfect ignition and fuel curve. If it was off at all the car would not compensate at all and it would either run lean or knock. It would not pull ignition or add fuel unless you told it to.

Basically, no more manually adjusting UT and IC and taking datalogs. The Procede will monitor knock activity realtime, every time you go on boost. It will self-adjust itself to the "ideal" UT and IC settings. So basically, plug in the Procede and just activate auto-tune. Game over.

it has been promised with the next update more than once, but it never came out: A release that would allow cars without cruise control stick to use the command center.

Any news on that one? It's about time ...

The firmware has been done for quite some time. Been tested in both single and twin turbo applications. Just working on one more yet-to-be-discussed feature to avoid having to release another firmware update a week later. If it works, you guys will be happy. If it doesn't, we'll release it in its current form as described in this thread. Should know within the next couple days.
