Cobb AP problem

Hey guys just wondering if any of you guys running cobb have a problem with throttle where it seems to continue to keep going a little after you let off the pedal.

Ive seen a thread somewhere on here before about this issue but cant find it...just trying to find out if this is sort of normal or not.

seems that it happens most of the time but sometimes it doesnt happen, but it just seems that the cars just keeps pulling for about 1/4 of a second after i let off the throttle completely.

Does it seem to happen more when the motor is cold or warm?

Cheers,
Rob

It used to happen on the original maps more frequently. I haven't heard much about it recently, but I get it every so often while running the stock throttle map. (I've never had it with linear.) The only map I ever got it on was v3.01 stock. Like you said, it's just a fraction of a second, but enough to get that adrenaline spike because you're not expecting it. Hopefully, all that will be solved with v4.00.

See I wanna know what's going on with this...there is no way that this is normal.

Have you guys tried installing different versions like v301 or v203

I thought this was resolved a long time ago...does it seem to get better when switching between both throttles or the same thing?

For those with the issue. Can you log the fuel mode monitor during the event to see if it's in cat protection mode or "6"?

Cheers,
Rob

I assume that this is one of the items that can be monitored in addition to the standard log list, so that we have to add them manually to said list in the datalogging menu of the AP?

I too, have had this feeling but it was the aggressive map v301. The problem I have with Cobb right now is that when I install the tune my car (AT) will stutter in the later gears like after third gear. I have had fuel injector problems when stock and as of right now I have all new injectors and spark plugs. I recently tuned my car on stock drive and then uninstalled because of the hesitation acceleration throughout 4th and 5th. To me it seems like something with the boost and fuel injector not being able to compensate For now I am stock and waiting for the INPA and BT scan to see if the injectors are correctly coded.

I have this problem as well. There is definite acceleration when you let off the gas at above 4k+ RPMs for a split second. It's kind of disconcerting when you need to come to a stop quickly.

I am using Stg 1 aggressive w/ stock throttle on a e92 6MT. Using the newest maps (v301).

FWIW I have this issue on STG1 AGG but not on STG1 drive or sport. All tested on Linear throttle.

I've sent my logs to Rob, and in at least one of them I was able to reproduce that problem. It wasn't happening consistently though, as I haven't quite figured out which configuration of rpm and boost provokes it.
