Is it the 120PS or 150PS? Both stonking engines, i personally think theyre the best in their class
It's the 120. Was going for the se 150 to upgrade from my 2 year old sportive.... But alas, i've bought a beemer, so it's streching a little to get a new workhorse too.
I had cruise fitted to it yesterday, and i'm gonna get my parrot sorted. Should be good for another 53k then eh... As you say great vehicles really, i had a vivaro whilst i was having cruise done and it was abismal!
Cheers for the offer on the chip, i'll have a look at insurance.

This car is absolutely astounding tho. You will be impressed. I've come from and R32, and it's like a toy in comparison.

New Boy!!

Hi Guys!!! Been poking my head around this site for a while now but never posted!! Always driven beemers but just brought my first E90!! A brief Beemer history consists of!!

E36 318is Coupe (M3 Rep)
E46 323ci Coupe
E46 330 M Sport Convertible
E46 M3 Coupe in pheonix yellow
E90 320D

Just had a baby girl so the M3 wasn't really an option any more but it was an amazing car!! I'm loving the Fuel economy and the chasis of the 320 but its a bit of a dip from the M3!! A few choice mods on the way but nothing to fancy!! Just having 2 M Sport bumpers sprayed up in sparkling graphite grey to fit for a start and more to follow!!!

Hi Guys,
I am a nieubieeeeee.
I have been wandering for a while and reading your comment especially about the RFT. Thanks to your posts I am with my new Falken's 452 on my 330D. OOOOO what a relief. I should have done that a month ago when I bought the car. Thanks.

Post

Learnt a great deal just reading posts, so thanks to everyone - felt it was time to contribute....

Took the plunge from a 911 and a 520d, needing to reduce running costs and the number of cars on the drive and accommodate a growing family.

Likes

For my current needs I can't think of a better car, practicality with great performance and handling.

Enjoying all that torque - in the real world it is nearly as quick as the 911

Potential extra performance on offer - tempted by DMS

Value - my car is nearly two years old with what seems to be a reasonable spec - I paid over £20k less than what the 1st owner paid !!

Doing a reasonable amount of motorway miles I am getting 30mpg

Dislikes

M Sport suspension - my choice as I prefer the look of the car and the dynamics and may yet do some track days but boy does it fidget.

Runflats - eventually needed to replace the worn fitted Michelin PS2s - it was going to cost more than new PS2s for the 911 !! - in the end went for 4 Bridgestone RE050As - so far happy with them

It is too quiet - sounds great with the windows down or for those on the pavement but sounds too ordinary inside - yet to search for posts re: exhausts

Cheers
kahos

Hello all!

Hi,

My name is Richard. I've just picked up a 2006 E90 320d SE. This is my first BMW and i'm loving it! I can't believe how smooth and powerful this 4 pot diesel is!! It's fantastic! My car is in Arktis metallic, a colour i wasn't sure about in photos, but i love it in the metal. I'm really looking forward to this experience and asking you all lots of newbie questions!

I googled for an m sport front bumper and came across a post on here. I used to have an Audi S3 and found the Audisport forum very useful and figured this would be a worthy equivalent!

Hi guys new on here too, been looking into the issue with cracked alloys etc.
Had a 330d Msport on a 54 plate and upgraded last year to a 335d Msport. I love this car, took it to the Le Mans classic last year and am going down again this year for the 24hr. I do between 35 & 40K a year and love the way it eats the miles, if I was sensible I would have taken a 325, but WTF, you only live once!!!!!

Hi, New on this forum,
I've had my E93 325d nearly a week now and as per my previous car A4 S Line it will be getting a remap in the next week or two!

I look forward to post the results.

Mine had the same. Simple warranty work for them to replace, fairly common I believe, no longer than a few hours.

Hello all!

A relative newby with few posts before but the first time I've posted on the UK side seeeing as I've only just found it. Nothing like being slow ;-)

My car history being relatively young:
E36 318 iSE in silver
E46 325 Ti in metallic red - proper live wire but not so great in the wet....
E93 325i M-Sport convertible in Sparking Graphite with 225 alloys and black leather

Now, having had said 325 e93 go back 6 times in one year (2008 MY) it's going back to BMW and have ordered as a replacement:

E92 325i M-Sport high-line auto in Bluewater with Coral Red leather.

Had enough of being boring. Any thoughts on the colour combo anyone? Think it will look different and quite classy?

If anyone needs any advice on how to discuss matters with BMW UK and how it works let me know and happy to help!

Cheers,

J
