I don't know if it's the paint color, but I'm not a fan of the rear lights even more now...the coloring (i.e. mostly red) is better, but the "classic BMW L shape" is so subtle, it looks like someone made a mistake...kinda like the Bangle Butt on the 7s at first.

My opinion on the front hasn't changed...I like the kidneys better, but that lower bumper....eh....

I think it looks infinitely better in every way, sparing that ugly color.

I'm just making an observation here, but it seems that all the people who are strongly against the new design are pre-FL e90 owners.

Not saying that they're trying to justify anything...I'm just saying...

I know that last statement will get me flamed. Whatev.

Nah, it won't get you flamed....your opinion is legit.

I will say I owned an E46 prior to the LCI and I can honestly say that I liked the pre LCI front end on that one better than the revised one. The E90 LCI does look more modern than pre LCI, but the contouring is a bit off in my book. It's just not as clean and has more frills in my book (i.e. the lower bumper and hood contouring). The taillight coloring is cleaner, but the "L shape" is a little disjointed. I'm ambivalent on the rocker panel contouring.

Like the E46 revision, it seems that the E90's LCI adds subtle tweaks and changes, but is not as simple and clean as the original design. If that makes any sense. Not that it's worse, but Nissan did the same thing with the original FX and the new FX.

e90 sedan, 1 series, e46 mtech wagon, e91 mtech wagon and e92 coupe all hovering around the car

i think the pre facelifted blackline tail lights look much better than these but the front could grow on me a little about

i think people are always skeptical of new models at first but i think theyll grow on us. i do think that the tail lights suck though, just way too much red.

I wonder if the facelifted model will even have an oem alternative for the new tail light design.

Going to have to disagree with you on this. I think the new tail lights look waaaay better than the existing ones. I think the whole rear of the current e90 is atrocious.

I hope they create a newer updated version of blacklines after the release.

the facelifted tailights are 10000x better than the current ones.

Anyone else notice how they resemble the current X5 tailights?

new headlights are much better as well. no orange corners.

OLD 1 LOOKS BETTER...but i guess wait untill we see their aftermarket kit's , i'm thinkin' you could make this lo0k like the new m3 easy, as for us we have to change ho0d,fenders,lights,ETC...Wiht this body should be easier.

I like the new one. Every refresh you have current owner bashing over the new design and new buyer raving over it.
