E90 Sedan Smoked Headlight Overlays- BlueBat

I contacted BlueBat, the famed vinyl creator for G35s, etc. about making Smoked Vinyl Overlays for the E90 Sedan. These would be the same type overlays Hunter previously offered.
I know that group buy fell through and there are still alot of people that want them and no other vendor currently offers smoked overlays.
Bluebat stated that he needs a car in the San Deigo, Cali area to measure and size the overlays.

Come on, no one wants these? There were so many people in that group buy that fell through!

Blue Batmobile does excellent work for many many car forums. I don't think he would disappoint with this.

they need to be priced reasonably..$30-40 is too much for a piece of vinyl

I already spoke with him about a year ago. I volunteered to use my car so he can do the measurements but he wants me to pay him for installation. I said hell no!

HAHA not to

but, I was going to take my car to EAS to have them design a product they wanted to sell so when you lock the car the mirrors fold in, and when you unlock they unfold. Sounds pretty cool, so I was going to take it in and they said for letting them use my car to design it I could get $50 off and free installation. But they were going to sell it for $200.

So they want to use my car to design it, for me to drive an hour to them, be a whole day without a car, and drive it an hour home and still PAY them $150.

I said no.

He didnt say anything about having to pay for them.... he just needs a car to measure...I would imagine he would give one for free if you were willing to let him use ur car, if not that would be unreasonable cause this could make him alot of money

No, from what I gather window tint film would be too flimsy and too hard to shape in order to put it on the front curved lights. They would be made of vinyl.

Thanks for the interest guys, and those of you who already know my work

. The reason the charge for the install is because I really dont do the installation process anymore. With all the demands for my work, I have a friend that does most of my installs now. He's pretty darn cheap when you consider what other places charge. The person that offers their car for measurements will be rewarded with a free set of the overlays as long as you have my guy install so I can take pics for my gallery
