I'm not surprised. I could really give a crap, but several people have commented on how much more pleasant than usual the various chimey noises are.

Personally there's only a couple noises that I actually care about, and unlike my old GTI, I can't even hear the turbos at all... dunno if that was intentional or not, but I kinda miss it. The exhaust however sounds so much nicer. (I'm quite partial to inline sixes; my "other" vehicle - in quotes because I don't really consider it inferior, just different - is an old Jeep Cherokee.)

But what about all the UNWANTED noises coming from the car such as rattles, creaks, squeaks, whistles. I've had them all on my car since is was new - and only some are actually fixed.
I'm just totally fed up with the clicking noise in particular coming from the parcel shelf. They had completely replaced it a few months ago - but the clicking noise has come back again.
