Hi detailers!

Summer is in full force in Phoenix, my first summer here. My Natty's application is wearing off as far as I can tell (from beading and whatnot). I need to reapply but considering it's about 100 in the shade I could use some advice.

My plan was to wash the car the night before and wax it in the morning/early evening the following day, without starting the car so that it's as cool as possible. I hope that if I leave the car in the garage all night to cool and keep it out of the sun all day the paint won't be too hot and I can get a decent application.

Should I make any changes to the plan?

Sounds like a good plan to me. You might also want to consider waxing it right in the garage (if you have room to move around the car) or getting one of those EZ-UP tent things for some shade.

As long as you don't try to wax in the sun, I'd think you should be fine. I use Dodo Juice waxes, and they tend to haze a little bit once they get hot. For example, I get some hazing on the hood after driving. Spritzing with refrigerated Quick Detailer takes care of the issue for me. Not sure if Natty's has the hazing issue or not.

If the environment is hot, you might need to let the wax set a little longer before removing it than normal. I always do my detailing in the garage as much as possible.

Natty's is pretty good in the heat imo, better than most waxes. i would wash and wax the car at night so the paint doesn't get any unnecessary dirt on it during the night before you start waxing in the morning, just do it all in one shot. the wash will most likely cool any of the heat left in the paint from direct sunlight., ambient heat should not be too big of a deal

So, is the consensus that I need to leave the wax on longer to cure, or not as long because it's warm?
