Cheers mate, you will have to wait to find out

I use this as my work car and do a lot of miles in it, makes sense to have something cheaper for work and maybe a petrol car for weekend use.

Evolve is the only place I would take my car as the guys there have great knowledge and very helpful. I didn't remove the dpf as I didn't really like the idea of all the soot coming out the back end.

Ok so 2 bits of news:

1. Had an MOT monday and the noob mechanic decided to curb my rear wheel. I didnt notice it until the next day either Not sure how i can drive it every day and be fine and the stupid mechanic cant even drive it on to his ramp.

2. Diffuser came yesterday so i tried a test fit and guess what it doesnt fit properly. Its non-oem so i dont expect it to be 100% but 1 side sits really proud so its gonna need some work to make it fit.

This means i need to get to dips asap. Dips if your reading this im thinking April now

To be honest the wheel i can stomach as dips was doing the wheels anyway but the diffuser is abit of a kick in the teeth as im not sure if he does things like this. I spoke to him a couple of weeks ago and he gave me some prices on the things i want to do.

You thing he will be able to do something with the diffuser?

when it comes to modding cars, or anything to do with BMWs in fact, there isn't much he can't do

Ok this sounds promising then. I have just spoke to the person i bought the diffuser from and they say because the tabs are not as flexible i should drill through them and insert a screw to hold them in place which will pull that side in which kinda makes sense. Ill phone dips later and see what he thinks and get my car booked in.

yea i know what you mean, i think it was a similar story when i bought my performance diffuser, dips said he needed to "tweek" it a little to make it fit flush so let him work his magic on it

look forward to seeing what you have planned bud

must definitely arrange a meet when dips has finished with our cars!

A bit of an update.

My car went in to dips for a week to have a few minor changes nothing compared to some of the other lads but enough to post some pics .

Some of you wont like what ive done which i respect as everyone has their own opinions but to be fair i just got bored and fancied being different for the summer.

Dips was excellent through the whole process he updated me with pictures at each stage. Here are a few.

-Rear arches rolled
-15mm Spacer test fit to the rear
-Adjust fitment of CSL bootlid
-Respray Calipers
-Respray Hubs
-New 12mm Spacers for the front (******** cheers Chris)
-Customise boot & bonnet badges
-Customise mirror covers
-Lower the rear more
-Fit carbon diffuser

Rims are still being finished.
