Weird. I've never ever had an issue setting them to 90 as per spec. Multiple tack days, burnouts, hard driving etc. 12 years of BMWs and never once had to over torque them...

My e90 had ist happen with the stock 162's, and my winter set, which are style 393's. My drift car has it happen with some old oem bmw wheels on the rear, and I don't fancy shooting a wheel at spectators... both cars run stock lug bolts, and I've never lubed the threads. it's true that my torque wrench could be out of calibration, but I wouldn't even know how to check that, other than to get another. when they've loosened it's always been cold out, that's the only thing I can think of that was a constant. Happened on both cars with so many different wheels that I just started running the 110.

I have a German torque wrench and stick with BMWs reccomended 110nm. 110flb is way too much!
