Not going anywhere ........

I have broken a bone in my wrist playing rugby at the weekend,

so I am banned from driving while I have my cast on.

(Company car insurance thing)

This means I definately won't be at the Surrey rolling road, even though it's just up the road from me. And not at UK5 (even though I already said I wasn't going). Raise a glass for me.

My wife has my car at the moment and I'm not a good pasenger. She got really close to a curb the other day and I went cold waiting for the crunch of alloy vs curb.

I'll catch up with you all soon.

Sorry to hear about your wrist, is it left or right?

Real man's game though rugby eh, sure you'll be back to form soon.

Perhaps being a passenger is more nerve racking than being on the rugby field - hope you get on ok.

Thanks everyone.

It's the right wrist, so technicaly, I could probably drive. But I wouldn't want it on my concience if anything happened and I hurt someone else. Also my insurance would be invalid and I can't personally afford a damages claim.

I'm sure I'll get used to being driven in the Bimmer, but it's not going to come easy.
