how about: 235/45/17 Front, 245/45/17 back
Hi,
I'm thinking about new Michelin PSS tires in a month or so and they do not make 255/40/17. I have a pre-lci 328i sedan, where standard size is 225/45/17 and 255/40/17. I'm thinking I can fit 235/45/17 Front, 245/45/17 back with Michelin PSS. A little wider up front, a little narrower in the back, and both are a little taller diameter, about 0.4" in front and 0.7" in back. Has anyone tried this fitment? Is there anything reason not to do it? thanks |

It shouldn't be a problem. I put 235/45/17's on my stock rims just recently. I might go with a 245/40/17 though.
