How often do cars end up on K-Line? Is it pretty rare, or a somewhat regular thing?

I dunno, I was thinking NYK originally which is Pacific, I didn't even know about KLine. That explains the 2 week gap from WW though.

Once OC updates I will.

The 800 number now says in transit, but OC still shows Awaiting.

Looks like I'm in with you guys! I've got a e92, Monaco Blue, Beige Leatherette, Walnut Trim, Manual, Sport, HD Radio, CA, Heated Butt (and back) baby on the way. I'm going to name her Monika (based on the color).

The 800 # just put me on a boat this morning after a long wait (finished production May 2nd). I'm thinking it's probably the Courage, unless there was another K-Line or some other boat we don't know about. Anyone know how to shift ocean currents to speed the boats up? It would be helpful if you did!

On another note. Reading through the thread, there's someone doing the PCD and wondering why it's taking so long. I did the PCD with my first 335 (R.I.P.) back in Oct. She went to the great salvage yard in the sky when a kid pulled out in front of me. Anywho, it took about 12 weeks from order to delivery just because the PCD is so backed up. The wait doesn't come from getting the car there, the wait comes from getting a spot for delivery... but, be strong. It's WELL worth it.

I'm in!

Production completed 5/2, at port 5/5. My VIN never showed up on the WW tracking page. Now the OC website says I'm en route.

If the 800 number just said you were on the boat this morning and you finished on May 2nd, you're with me on the Sierra Nevada Highway. Where in NC are you?

AJerman - I just changed to in transit on the 1-800#, but I'm not on the WW site. Do you know if the Sierra Nevada Highway goes to NYC too? Just left a message for my CA to see if I can get more info.

I was in Fayetteville for 8 months but moved up to Milwaukee about a month ago. I can't say I like the weather much, but the girls are a lot nicer.

anyone know for sure where themilwaukee cars get dropped off? I think Chicago cars go through charleston so I'm guessing I'll be the same. When does sierra Nevada arrive? What shipping line is it?

No, but the Sierra Nevada Highway does go to Baltimore. Don't know if that might have your car. Call your CA, he can tell you now what boat you're on.

Ah, I just saw NC under your name. I'm not sure what boat would bring your car then. You and xraymd may still both be on the Sierra Nevada Highway for drop off in Baltimore. Call your CA and ask what boat you're on.

one more thought before I put my iphonesway and do some work....

If our cars arrive after June 1st, can we be hit with the price increase? I wouldn't think so since the dealer already agreed on a price, but I wanted to see what y'all (tou can take me out of NC bit yiu cant take Nc out of me) thought.

No, you already agreed on a price and put a deposit on it. They won't change it now.

Yeah, I checked the K-Line site. Can't find a RoRo from Bremerhaven to NYC recently. Hmm, the plot thickens.

But hey, we're on the water!!!!

Looks like Sierra Nevada Highway will also be in Charleston on the 22nd. That seems like a pretty quick trip across the pond, maybe Charleston is its first stop?

Just talked to my guy at the dealer. I'm on the Sierra Nevada Highway for sure. He thought it was a joke when I first asked him if that was the boat, he'd never heard of it. He got to laugh at himself a little bit when he looked it up and I was right :-). he also said it's getting pushed back a day into Charleston, so it will arrive there on the 23rd. He was hoping for delivery to me by the 28th.

You can see a map of the terminal the boat comes into: http://www.port-of-charleston.com/ch...s/unionmap.htm

If you're looking at it on google earth, it's on the west side of the Cooper River, south of the new bridge. Search for the Harris Teeter grocery store and it's just east of that. Would it be too nerdy to have my friend in Charleston try to snap a pic of the boat on the 23rd?

M6 wheels, blacked out grill, tint, not a whole lot really, but I do want it to be fairly blacked out and mean looking. I guess a tune is wait and see for now.

What about you?
